Can you believe, a mere 9 years ago, this forum was rabidly attempting to put John McCain into the office of the President of the United States? As was I, though my vote was for Palin.
As bad as Obama was he did two things we should be thankful for. He prevented President Clinton, and he prevented President McCain.

Can you believe, a mere 9 years ago, this forum was rabidly attempting to put John McCain into the office of the President of the United States?It wasn't exactly "rabid". Much of his support here was a result of his VP choice. Without Palin, his loss would have been even worse.
I voted for Ron Paul in the primary (the only non-McCain choice that was left at the time).
