I personally think her refusal to fire him was owing to LEVERAGE.
At SOME point, the she-Devil and Mr. CorruptAsHell finally had to have a heart to heart.
It prolly started out polite, and quickly went downhill.
At some point Awan probably whipped out some printed matter he had from her email and said something like:
“If I go down, honey..? YOU are going down in a very, VERY major way...”
And it had something about Haitian kids on there. That or 100 other things.
