We needed a leader after 911.
Huge communities have been devasted by the effects of unfair and stupid trade deals. It’s like a Springsteen life come to life.
Btw, the same thing is happening in Europe, but public unrest is not that big yet because of the welfare state.
You don’t even have to work to live a middle class life - for now - in Europe.
Your EU nation just lends money from the German, Chinese or Arabs and all seems fine...

It strikes me as a bit weird to hire a minion to say the strong words you would have wanted to say, in order to then make someones position untenable.
