Other than her skin color, what was it that made her historic?
Well, she DID ruin school lunches for 50 million kids. Who else can lay claim to that accomplishment? And she DID make a fabulous fashion statement by having drapes, shower curtains and table clothes turned into apparel ("dresses" would be too kind a word).
