You are exactly right. The RINOs are there because of RINO voters. Conservatives can’t get control of the Republican party. The problem is more structural than just a few senators. I doubt they can get any kind of healthcare bill to pass. Before I assumed a ObamaCare lite bill would eventually pass — now I am not so sure.

Oh no we can’t do that. We’ve got to cling to the sorry ass Republicans.

How’s that working out? If this doesn’t make us realize Conservatives can’t win in the Republican Party, nothing will.

RINO voters are a regional phenomenon. There are few conservatives in urban Maine, any more than there are in LA or New York City, and those up in the backwoods may not even vote. So you have Susan Collins. Urban coastal regions tend to be liberal. Rural and suburban regions tend to be conservative.
