It only makes logical sense. Why should the government pay for the medical costs associated with transgender personnel? Operationally, they must take hormones every day to maintain their changed sexual characteristics. How would that work in the field and in combat?

Transgenderism is a matter of choice by the individual who wishes to mutilate their body due to a mental condition. The military should not be an enabler. Moreover, it is just another irritant to good order and discipline. The mission of military is to fight and win wars. It is not a laboratory for social experiments.

Tough choice politically by Trump and the right decision.

Truthfully spoken. But, remember, TRUTH is the new HATE SPEECH!

If you haven't read it, see my post above at #151, kabar. It is a great article. They ask those questions, such as: If there is a combat environment, will shipments of hormones have to be sent, displacing morphine, antibiotics, or other things?

Dumb asses will insist "Oh, we can always send both" because they don't know enough history that in real combat, supplies of even anesthesia or bandages can run short due to units being surrounded, supply lines cut, etc.

It is enough to make you crazy to listen to them.

Right on. It is a logical decision, not discrimination as the left crying out.
