It's been hotter than the hinges on Hell's gates here in the SouthEast for the past couple of weeks.

But it's the Southeast. And, it's July. Imagine that.

I haven’t been paying attention to the weather forecast but apparently it is hotter than usual. I went to meet my mom and sister for lunch yesterday and couldn’t find a shaded parking spot. When I got back to my car the steering wheel and ignition were very uncomfortably hot to touch, I quickly started the car, put the air on high and recirculate, then walked back to the shade of the restaurant entrance for about ten minutes. Car thermometer read 100, humidity’s always high here in summer.

It has been hot here in the southwest too. We call it summer.
