I’m disappointed in Sessions.
But, 3D chess or not, that’s just plain mean. I don’t see how it engenders loyalty in the staff he collects, now or in the future.
This situation has me very anxious.
It’s a message called, leave under your own power.
Sessions could rope in Rosenstein now for letting Mueller run wild. He hasn’t. He doesn’t have to recuse himself if the subject matter has gone past the original nonsense about collusion.
If he quits and a non-tainted AG can come in to take his place, the entire coup attempt can be constrained to the truth and that means Mueller and his astonishing far left hit squad leave the building empty handed. Hopefully escorted by Secret Service and banned from Federal empployment for life after that, since they were engaged in a conspiracy to overthrow the elected government under color of law.
This nonsense is not even one-dimension political checkers, let along chess of any dimension.
The only was I see this being 3D chess is if Trump is trying to distract the media and Democrats away from healthcare.
Trump is still trying to goad Sessions into resigning, and apparently, Sessions is having none of it.
Two things could come of this confrontation: Either Sessions straightens up and flies right, like Trump wants him to do, meaning he then goes after the Clinton Foundation in a big way, or Trump shall have no choice but to fire Sessions.
Or this could just wrangle on for months, any serious prosecutions languishing, and the futile search for a scapegoat on the Russian collusion claims continues to eat up all the headlines and oxygen in the room.
Ergo, it is a good idea not to jump to conclusions no matter how outrageous the shiite hitting the news.
Just by the nature of it, things had to get worse--much worse--before they began to get better.
I personally have no idea what the hell is going on with Trump, Sessions, or the administration. But I do know from experience that a cool head is what always works.
Stay cool, FRiends...stay cool.
My last two managers in my employment career were the biggest pricks I had ever had the misfortune of ever working for. With that being said, they had my loyalty because that's what my job demanded..........and that was in the private sector.
Most of the staff is disloyal and needs to be removed. If Sessions is not obeying orders to go after the DNC, despite such a bountiful amount of material to work with, then the political attacks are necessary to set the stage for his removal and the coming assault against the DNC to come.
Unless he’s in on it.
Didn’t you watch “The Dark Knight?” Remember the ending?
Sessions isn’t taking the earlier hints and resigning gracefully - it would be awkward for Trump to fire him and replace him with someone who has a spine and who would handle the Mueller debacle properly. Trump is clarifying the message so even an idiot can grasp what he wants.
