In a brief interview with the Wall Street Journal, President Trump ripped into Attorney General Sessions once again. This time, the President cut even deeper, suggesting Sessions endorsed him because of Trumps success as a candidate, not out of loyalty.
President Donald Trump expressed his disappointment in Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Tuesday and questioned the importance of Mr. Sessionss early endorsement of Mr. Trumps candidacy, but the president declined to say whether he planned to fire him.
Its not like a great loyal thing about the endorsement, Mr. Trump said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal. Im very disappointed in Jeff Sessions.
While the President is still mum on his plans concerning Sessions, Scaramucci told NBC News a decision on the AGs future will be made shortly.

Sessions said he’d had no contact with the Russians, despite having a private meeting with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak in his office.
He lied, period.
Geez, I wish the owner would step in and stop the cursing and the Never Trumpism here. This place is awful these days.
If you’re not a Never Trumper, you are an hysterical panty waist. Get thee to a fainting couch! Or wash out your mouth.
The site is bad because of people like you that can't stand when their idol takes criticism, and the rhetoric isn't in lock-step with the rest of the mob.
Lied for what? To what end? What was concealed? There is nothing there. You are getting played by the Democrats and their worthless line of questioning. I spent years oversees meeting with foreign officials and I would have NEVER considered them to be a contacts requiring contact memos to be written for security purposes, as long as it was official business. That is policy.
Sessions COULD HAVE written on his SF86, "During my time in the Senate from 19XX-2016, I met with a snot-load of Russians during official USG business."
But no one does that. No one. Never seen it in 30 years, and this underscores what total hacks the democrats are.
Sessions did not lie and DJT is making strategic stupid mistakes for no reason.
During his confirmation hearings Sessions was asked if he’d had Russian contacts. He’d had two conversations with the Russian ambassador, but he denied it anyway.
It was a lie.
In conjunction with the hearings, Sessions was given a set of written questions to answer. One asked specifically if he’d had Russian contacts. He’d had two, but he denied them.
It was a lie.
It’s been pointed out that all he had to do was tell the truth. He could have answered, in both cases, that yes, he’d spoken twice to the Russian ambassador. He could have described those conversations. That’s what an honest man would have done.
But Sessions lied...and Trump is paying the price.
Here’s a third instance of Sessions failing to disclose the Russian contacts. This one concerns his security clearance.
‘Washington (CNN)Attorney General Jeff Sessions did not disclose meetings he had last year with Russian officials when he applied for his security clearance, the Justice Department told CNN Wednesday.
Sessions, who met with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak at least two times last year, didn’t note those interactions on the form, which requires him to list “any contact” he or his family had with a “foreign government” or its “representatives” over the past seven years, officials said.
The new information from the Justice Department is the latest example of Sessions failing to disclose contacts he had with Russian officials.’

Why did Jeff Sessions a member of the Senate have to ‘apply’ for a security clearance? From what I have read the democrats sent that Russian Ambassador on his capital hill tour. Particularly, by Jeff Sessions office...
I guarantee you no one's SF86 is going to have every single citation of OFFICIAL meets. Do you not see the fallacy in the line of questioning? Sessions, having zero reason to hide anything would not have naturally thought of his engagements with the Russian Ambassador as a private unofficial contact that needed to be reported. It's not any more complicated than that.
And if Sessions is guilty. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US ARE GUILTY. ALL OF US. NO Exceptions. EVERY MOTHER SCOOTER. All of us have lied, in every Department. Every Congressman, every Senator. Not a damn one of them would be able to withstand that scrutiny.
If Trump feels like he was wrong because of the ethics of Sessions, then FIRE HIM. It isn't that hard.
You would need to ask the DOJ. They are the ones who say Sessions failed to disclose these contacts on the security clearance application.
A lie is a lie. Sessions was asked three times about Russian contacts. He’d had them. He twice outright denied it, and the third time failed to disclose.
You’re argument is, ‘They all lie.’ Is that the same as calling Sessions just another swamp creature? I thought his ethics were superior.
Seriously, the 'DOJ'? We shall see if President Trump fires Jeff Sessions.
Here’s some additional information:
‘Washington (CNN)A US District Court judge in Washington gave the Justice Department one month to make public a page of Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ clearance form, on which he was meant to disclose any contacts with Russian officials.’
http://www.cnn.com/2017/06/12/politics/jeff-sessions-reince-priebus-foia/index.html
Look, has anybody cared a whit about lord McCain being in league with the ISIL rebels? Lord McCain declared he was in contact with this murderous bunch and nobody cares. A drop by visit of a democrat invite of the Russian Ambassador to Sessions senate office requires Sessions to disclose a drop by visit?
Having two conversations with the Russian ambassador constitutes contact with the representative of a foreign government. Why, if Sessions is the bastion of integrity his defenders claim, would he not at least note that fact on his security clearance application?
Conversations? What I read was the democrats were escorting their Ambassador around and had him stop by and say hello to Jeff Sessions. Have the democrats said yet what language was used and what exactly was said?
There appears to be more to the story:
‘Kislyak was overheard by U.S. spy agencies while he was informing his bosses that he had indeed discussed campaign-related matters with Sessions. That also included issues that were important to Moscow.’
snip
‘Kislyaks recalled two conversations with Sessions. The former Alabama senator first didnt disclose his contact with Kislyak during his confirmation hearing. He later claimed that the meetings werent about the Trump campaign. However, now it seems they were.’
You misread the information. Nobody’s taking the Russians’ word for anything. US spy agencies recorded the phone calls and leaked the contents.
