That is what I have found as well, angry and bitter and eager to attack something they claim they don’t believe in. I don’t attack them, I feel sorry for them, but figure it is their business, not mine. But they on the other hand are eager to ridicule, mock and impune anyone of faith.
Smart, no. Arrogant, elitist, snobbish, bitter and full of hate is a more apt description.
Maybe they are missing something? Maybe there is void in their lives that makes them bitter and angry.
Maybe it is human nature to criticize something that you want to believe in. A person wants to be convinced.
Christians have been their own worst enemies with the corruption and ignorance in their own faith. But it is important to remember that it isn’t the messenger that is important but the message.
