A Fox News host was ambushed while attending her pal’s campaign event in Brooklyn Monday night — doused head to toe with a bottle of water.
The assault against Kat Timpf, a libertarian co-host on “Fox News Specialists,” occurred at Union Pool in Williamsburg, where her friend and Brooklyn Borough president hopeful Ben Kissel was hosting the event, which coincided with his birthday.
In a series of tweets, a shaken Timpf, 28, said the attack was targeted.
An unknown guy “walks in, clearly here because he knows I’m here, dumps an entire 1.5 liter bottle of water on me, first on my head and then I turn … to look and he splashes it directly on my face and runs out. I’m shocked, I’m stunned. I’m obviously upset. I end up not being able … to speak because of it,” Timpf wrote Monday night.
She went on to add, “I’ve never seen a more disgusting insane cruel climate than the one we’re in now. Why? What does that … accomplish? I guess I wasn’t able to speak so that’s great and I guess he wins, but we’re just randomly assaulting people in public now?”
The altercation was caught on security footage, which Timpf said has been turned over to police. She also filed a police report — but the assailant is still in the wind, she said on Twitter.
Police confirmed Timpf filed a harassment complaint Monday night. They described the creep, who said nothing when he attacked, as a white male in his 20s or 30s.

Shock value is her not knowing what she was doused in; and, then not being able to get past thoughts of the actual attacks that have been carried out with chemical agents in Europe. A terrorist action even though only water was used in this instance—a message which is pure intimidation.
while not nice.....its not an attack its a bottle of water being pored on her...If it happen to me it would not of been news worthy and having it happen to her is not news worthy....now if it was acid or lighter fluid then there would be something but it is just something that a high school kid would so to another kid they were angry with.
Not to excuse the act but if this is the way she reports facts, it's no wonder the news is fake. One, you're real dumb not to get out of the way of an entire slow dumping (glug, glug, glug) bottle of water. Two, there wouldn't be anything left to splash in her face since the entire bottle had been dumped on her head.
The “unknown guy” should have received a water-bottle suppository.
Not terribly. A woman is assaulted for her political views and your first response is to attack her appearance. I think that fits the definition of asshat pretty well.

You are assuming things that may not be true. Maybe the top had been cut off the bottle to allow the water to come out very quickly. That would be easy to do.
She’s fortunate it wasn’t the muzzies favorite form of attack using acid.

And yet, the “entire” bottle was not emptied on her head as she said if there was enough left to splash into her face. Sorry, no matter how you spin it, it doesn’t work.
