FBI agents seized smashed computer hard drives from the home of Florida Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s information technology (IT) administrator, according to an individual who was interviewed by Bureau investigators in the case.

George Webb knocked on all 12 homes of the Awan group and found one rented to a US Marine who showed Webb all the computers and Blackberries that had been stolen out of member’s offices. They had government markings and were without doubt the laptops and Blackberries that were part of the Paki spy network.
Webb made sure the Marine called NCIS and the right fellows in the FBI (not the McCabe HQ FBI). The laptops found their way to the DC Capitol Police whose Chief was threatened by Wasserman-Shultz to turn them over and he refused.
THE EQUIPMENT WAS NOT SMASHED.
He digs much deeper he might find his own suicide note.

Then you smash the circuit board with a small sledge hammer and burn it...then bury in a distant place.
Both the platters and the chips on the board can retain data.
You cannot trust the integrated circuits on devices anymore...too much snooping going on. Like 32gb thumb drives that are actually 64gb and mirror data to the part you can’t access. It would be no trick at all to mirror HD data to a 256gb flash chip on a HD circuit board.
Hollywood Florida is Debbie Wasserman-Schultz’s district, BTW.
