Chump change compared to this. If they suck this t*t for 50 years and spend $1T, I wouldn't be surprised.
Also the Alaska Way Viaduct in Seattle. Only took them 4 years to go 2 miles. NYC to D.C. Is about 225 miles.

The Hoover Dam may have been the last major civil engineering project to ever finish on-time & under-budget. Musk loves government “partnerships”. His business model depends on it. So I don’t imagine keeping to a budget or timetable is too high on his priority list.
