A woman has been found guilty of shooting her husband to death in a murder case witnessed by a parrot.
Glenna Duram, 49, shot her husband Martin five times in front of their pet in 2015, before failing in a suicide attempt.
The parrot, an African Grey named Bud, is alleged to have later repeated the words Dont shoot! in the victims voice.
Duram, of Sand Lake, Michigan, was found guilty of first-degree murder by a jury. She will be sentenced next month.
The parrot was not involved in any court proceedings.

Someone in this image is dead.
I felt sorry for Buddy, used for a prop and never having a loving home a dog deserves...
The parrot was a stool pigeon ....
They made him sing like a canary ....
I LOVE you. My turtle dove.
I mean, come onnn, if you can’t trust Bud, the parrot, who can ya trust!!
African Greys are scary smart. I saw youtube vids a while back by a behavioral scientist working with one who actually understood the concept of zero. Google Alex the African Grey he was amazing, though he’s since passed.
If they could it would most likely be something horrible involving peanut butter.
I’ll pass.
African Grays are very sensitive birds. If you don’t pay them enough attention, they start pulling out their chest feathers in frustration and look like plucked chickens. It’s a psychological disorder among Grays, a cry for help.
LOL
