The same way that blacks can call each other the "N" word all day long without any apparent offense to each other, but white people cannot utter the word a single time without fear of reprisals up to and including the loss of their jobs.

Remember some black comedian, at the White House correspondents dinner, called Obama “my nigger”?? That was ok. No sanctimonious liberal media member or agitator type such as Al Sharpton had anything to say about that.
But on the other hand, Paula Deen said “nigger” under some unknown circumstance, and was driven out of her public life, seeing book deals canceled and a TV show canceled.
