After restarting the failed "war on drugs" with the least problematic drug as a target Sessions decided that he would reinstate the overly broad civil seizure laws that resulted in many small businesses and others having assets seized by the government without any trial or conviction, and encourage police forces to use them even if their state laws don't allow seizures.
What was he thinking? Sessions has been a real disappointment.
