A dem never would have recused himself in the same situation. Lynch and Holder never recused themselves for the Obama crimes. We need a Republican that’s tough as nails and not afraid—like Trump. Surely there is someone qualified to be AG that has a spine.
I'm not going to argue that DEMs follow the rules, but neither Lynch nor Holder were election campaign advisors to Obama. Sessions' recusal, from campaign-related cases, is covered by a DoJ regulation, 28 CFR 45.2.
