Sessions was and is Trump’s best appointment. I hope Sessions does not resign. It would be a disaster. Trump owes his victory to Sessions who provided him the template for the win. And his early support brought many conservatives to the Trump team. Steve Miller came over from Sessions office to run the Trump campaign’s policy on immigration and trade.
No he isn't. He is a disaster. Trump himself regrets appointing him.
I hope Sessions does not resign.
I do.
It would be a disaster.
It will be difficult politically, but Trump can make a recess appointment of a new Attorney General.
Trump owes his victory to Sessions who provided him the template for the win.
That is a bunch of BS. Trump wrote the template for his victory, and it was all Trump. He carried the water, he paid the price, he took the lead, he won the victory. Your statement is completely insane.
And his early support brought many conservatives to the Trump team.
Agree, but since then, Sessions has been nothing but a hinderance. He hung the President out to dry. Trump knows this. Did you even read the article?
Oh please, Donald Trump does not owe his victory To Jeff Sessions. It was the evangelical Christians who turned out en masse that put him into office.
Was he an asset at the time? Yes, but I’ve not seen anything out of him that makes me feel that he understands the seriousness of the Deep State’s criminality in this nation.
No, it would not be a disaster for Sessions to be removed, in fact, I would welcome it.
Sessions hasn’t even fired McCabe despite multiple investigations into his questionable activity.
I long to see a Giuliani in that position of AG, because Jeff Sessions just doesn’t seem to have what it takes to drain the swamp.
I have no idea what any of that has to do with whether he's the best person for a top position in Trump's cabinet.
He shouldn't have recused himself, since the media and Democrats in general had already shown that they are going to wage full-scale war against everything Trump. Trump is certainly aware of it. I don't know why Sessions is so naive that he couldn't see it. His recusal, followed by the appointment of the special prosecutor, is turning out about as well as if a military general would allow his enemy to put somebody in place to fight against you from behind your own lines.
I will say though that Sessions seems like a nice enough guy. In fact, he simply REEKS of Senate collegiality.
You and I and a few others are a minority of that view. I still hold it.
In my mind, meaning the way this affects my attitude and perspective of Trump, not that anybody else should feel the same way, but in my head, this is like GWB nominating Harriet Miers. A window into the mind of GWB.
It is what it is, but it hasn't played out yet.
Um, sorry, but Trump does NOT owe his victory to Sessions! He owes it to the people who voted for him! I didn’t vote for Trump because of Sessions.
Sessions is OVERRATED and under performing.
Your times is UP!
Well, you were wrong. The AP is reporting Sessions says he will not resign despite the rebuke from the President. The other headline is that Mueller’s witch hunt is now expanding to Trump’s business deals and partners that have nothing to do with Trump. And Sessions is DIRECTLY to blame for this fiasco.
I don’t know if Trump was yanking NYT fake news chain or what, but I do know he shouldn’t even consider giving those a55h013s an interview. Sessions is a fine man, loyal and Trumps first Senate supporter. Maybe he made a couple of mistakes, well so has Trump. It is disturbing to see so many on here piling on Jeff Sessions. Criticizing him to a far left outlet is inexcusable. Pick some other way to get press, jerkoff press, or use diversionary tactics. BTW I have been for Trump since DAY 1 and fully support his agenda as outlined on the campaign trail.
