You might want to do a bit of research, pal. McCain was HATED at this site long before Trump showed up. He has been a dick since at least 2000, and even threatened to Primary against Bush in 2004. He then led the way in trying to pass an AMNESTY that would have locked in a DEMOCRAT MAJORITY for generations.

So, feel free to be a NeverTrumper here, but DO NOT think, for a minute, that our ABJECT HATRED of McCain has anything to do with Trump. McCain earned that hatred long before 2015, at least in our circles.

You've been here a while. Do you remember the Swift Boat Veterans who came out against John Kerry? Do you remember any of their anti-Kerry ads? I donated to those guys, and guess what Mr. Conservative McCain did? He was the first to denounce the ads against Kerry, saying:

"It is dishonest and dishonorable. I think it is very, very wrong".

But then four years later, when he was running for President himself, he took money from those same Swift Boat Vets he denounced.

Yeah, he's a real stand-up guy.
