[Trump telling the truth. How politically incorrect! LOVE IT!]
Yep. Now if only most the country could hear it. I’m sure the MSM is spinning as we type.
Yes, he was the first to go into battle. He was correct.
Any other cowering R president elected would be saying, “Obama meant well, but...” I’m thinking Jeb Bush.
Most organizations like union...were exampt from ACA for few years before fully implemented.
You actually said it!
The ideological battle has not ended with the end of the Cold War, and we have lost that battle since that end ideologically. The epitomy being the election of a self described (supposedly in his younger years, but with no breaking point from that belief)
Freedom -vs- Security.
Personal liberty and individual rights -vs- Socialistic security and safety nets.
Diametrically opposed in a zero sum equation.
The American way was to be an INDIVIDUAL.
The leftist way is to be a “New Soviet Man”. (working only in the interest of the collective, no self interest)
- The epitome being the election of a self described ... COMMUNIST.
Hmm.
Didn’t seem to be a lie for all the HIV infected perverts who got the due penalty of their perversion treated for free.
Recently, California came up with the hair-brained scheme for free medical care - cradle to grave. After the price tag of $40 Billion a year came in, the legislation was tabled. NY had an even higher estimate. That’s just two states. For everyone in America the figure would be in the trillions - to start. We’re simply too big for socialized healthcare.
And yet California and NY and other states in between want to keep their ‘expanded medicaid’ which they can’t afford without government subsidies and which will never shrink, govt agencies never do. We borrow trillions to pay our nations bills, billions to pay our states’ bills, more billions to pay our cities’ bills. Dangling a dream before taxpayers like a carrot, of some miraculous happening that will suddenly repay that debt, when the reality is we’re barely treading water on the interest rate.
But instead of cutting budgets, instead of rechanneling money towards our infrastructure, instead of insisting states take responsibility for the welfare of their own citizens, we waste billions, we outright lose more billions, we borrow some more, we tax some more, we tax through hyperregulation some more, hoping for that magical day when the carrot is finally ours. How can we be a free nation, a nation free of foreign influence, when other nations hold our pursestrings and will do so for decades to come?
All because our legislators couldn’t, and can’t act like adults and learn to say, no, the government isn’t some magical money tree and we can’t afford your demands on the taxpayer. At least Trump is honest about it.
