Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Acting Director Thomas Homan on Tuesday said he plans to further crack down on undocumented immigrants by sending more resources and agents to sanctuary cities.
Homan told Washington Examiner on Tuesday that he plans to address "ludicrous" sanctuary cities.
"In the America I grew up in, cities didn't shield people who violated the law," Homan told the publication. What I want to get is a clear understanding from everybody, from the congressmen to the politicians to law enforcement to those who enter the country illegally, that ICE is open for business."
"Were going to enforce the laws on the books without apology, well continue to prioritize what we do, Homan continued. But its not OK to violate the laws of this country anymore, youre going to be held accountable.

Send a few more up to Saratoga Springs, the mayor there won’t let her city officers participate in enforcing the law when it comes to illegals in the city.
I love it!
More talk. I’ll believe ICE is serious when they start deporting illegals by the boxcar.
ICE: Why announce? Give these criminal cities no notice -
all talk, no action.
Sanctuary cities are going to prove to be anything but that. Target-rich environments, concentrated arrest centers and the go-to place to find bad hombres.
The stupid sanctuary city politicrats have invited the roaches into their home. It makes the job easier to catch them that way. Duh!!
Send LOTS more to NYC. Take the illegal-lovin’ “mayor” with you. He surely wouldn’t mind sharing a jail cell with his beloved illegal trash.
Coming soon to Sanctuary Cities in America!:

The Left announces: Illegal aliens are safe here. ICE announces: We're targeting "here".
It completely defeats the Left's message. I like it.
A rolling program a month here a month there then a month here repeat as necessary.
One well see a lot of self deporting taking place.

Yes, and having ICE telling them that they are coming only gives legal notice that any city violating current Federal Immigration Laws will be prosecuted. These cities cannot claim in court that they were not put on notice.
The other thing that need attention is following up on visa overstays. There is really no legal avenue for these people, they can just be rounded up and sent home. I have seen figures that suggest that one third of the total are visa overstays. Ferret Sessions said that it will be “next year though” before their “new” computer system is operational so we can actually start the process of rounding up overstays. Now isn’t that just like our government?
There is also the issue of some of the “country’s of origin” refusing to take their citizens back. China is one.
WOOOOHOOOOO! HOORAY ICE.
HOORAY President Donald J. Trump. Thank you, sir.
Excellent.
You want barbed wire on those boxcars?
If we don’t get iron clad election reform and neglect to build the wall, the next election will be a tsunami and the next libtard to hold office will open the gates even wider.

That’s the America I grew up in, too.
I want it back.
When large numbers of foreigners move into your country without permission bringing their language, culture and customs taking over chunks of your country, it’s not immigration, it’s colonization.
Good idea. Pressure a few of the smaller cities, since they don't have the resources the bigger cities have. Indict the Mayor and City Council. Even if nothing ever comes of it (they cave in), it should scare the yell out of the weak sisters, further isolating/identifying the holdouts for increased enforcement.
If necessary.
