The only “backlash” has been from the press as the Somali cops are complaining publicly that the press is camped outside their doors, trying to interview family members, etc. and generally harassing them.
The press are the racists, tying the cop being a Muslim to all the other Muslim cops on the force, painting them with a broad brush.
There is a simple truth. You cannot put Muslims in authority types of positions. Muslim law is not compatible with Constitutional law.
Being a Muslim and sharia law is what they believe in. That comes first. They do not assimilate because Islam does not assimilate, they attempt conquer.
