That might be a problem on your part.
First, not even looking at published backgrounds. I’ve only said what I am for years. Is that not long enough for you? Don’t you ever read?
Second, embracing what I am rightly referring to as social caricatures. I see it even at church. Guys who think it’s manly to talk about sacrificing kittens in the garage.
Look at the red print in your bible. What gender do you find yourself associating this kind of talk with? Be honest... how are you framing the words of Jesus?
Sounds as if I’ve somehow hit a sore point for you, my apologies. You might want to check that tendency of comparing yourself favorably to Jesus, though. Get back to me when you walk on water.
