Surgeons who retire due to hands no longer being steady enough are still possessed of clinical knowledge and judgement, therefore can teach. I’m not in favor of age limits for professions except where the body itself is required to be in top condition.

Agree Westerner and I think I alluded to the fact the MD I noted is in a teaching role.
