I just wonder why the CA legislature is dragging its feet. They should legislate 100% green energy by, oh, January 2018, and order any utility lines that cross the state line be “opened” so no energy can flow into the state, from outside the state.

They can make laws, but cannot repeal the laws of physics.

Fossil fuel will be with US for a long time. Solar power for high current applications is insanity.

Wind generation is not as bad, but it is not there 24/7 and they are playing games with subsidies and maintenance costs. Phony Baloney.

F California. The most communists Democrats State in the Union. Solar panels are totally useless. Wait until a roof repair. Who is going to dust off the panels? These panels have a life and will need replacement. What happens in a hard storm and the panels produce nothing while they shut down power plants?

No salesman has shown me a cost to benefit analysis over 25 years where panels will actually save me money versus just using gas and normal power.

(Not talking about having my neighbors subsidize them for me)

From Kevin de Leon: “I can tell you half of my family would be eligible for deportation under [President Donald Trump’s] executive order, because if they got a false Social Security card, if they got a false identification, if they got a false driver’s license prior to us passing AB60, if they got a false green card, and anyone who has family members, you know, who are undocumented knows that almost entirely everybody has secured some sort of false identification. That’s what you need to survive, to work. They are eligible for massive deportation.”

Testifying before the Senate Public Safety Committee, De Léon defended the widespread practice by illegal aliens of using fraudulent documents to work and obtain taxpayer-paid benefits, dismissing any concerns California citizens may have about being the target of identity theft.
