No, I think the spider in the corner is President Trump.
It’s obvious he wants to get all these crooked Democrats but he doesn’t want to use the Justice Department to do it, because it would be viewed by the public as a partisan abuse of his executive authority. Remember the outrage following the debate when he said “because she’d be in jail”? Remember Krauthammer calling that “beyond the pale”?
So instead, he has to use the MSM and RussiaGate investigations and redirect them toward the Democrats. This is why he keeps stirring the pot and getting his son to stir the pot. Trump wants to keep this Russian thing alive because he knows it can only hurt the real culprits, the Democrats.
The MSM is submoronic - they hate Trump and have lost track of their own lies, which they have come to believe. They don’t realize the DNC has been pulling their strings and telling them what to report. They actually think Trump is guilty of colluding with the Russians. Trump knows he’s not, and the Democrats, who made the whole thing up, knows he’s not.
Meanwhile, the Democrats are assuming they have the entire MSM under their hypnosis and can continue to pound Trump into submission, but this is changing, and only Trump knows it. The MSM is oblivious, and the Dems are overconfident.
Every time the Russian thing gets recycled, more info points to the real culprits; the Democrats.
If I’m right about all this, the Democrats will suddenly start saying they think it’s time to stop talking about Russia, treason, collusion, etc. - time to move on. This will signal that they finally see Trump is out maneuvering them again - give it another month.
Anyway, that’s my prediction, FWIW.
It is not the Democrats leading the media but the other way around and it is leading it straight to hell.
