Sin taxes to benefit non-sin things is never a good idea. Whether it’s lottery “for education,” or smoking for “cancer research,” it all boils down to a convoluted mess.

You are right, of course. My only comment/question...why should cannabis be illegal? George Washington grew it. It became ‘illegal’ after DuPont didn’t like the competition from Hemp with Nylon. It is all politics.
