Stand by for $10.00 Big Macs and $25.00 heads of lettuce. /sarc
Sales of spray paint would crater over night
This is typical globalist propaganda at it's worst..
90% of the country washes their own car, cleans their own house, mows their own grass and watches their own kid. They would be unaffected. Go over to the DU and preach your BS.
Bullshiite. Round ‘em up. I’ll take my chances on an illegal free driven economy.
Ping.
All true. There is no down side to getting rid of the illegals.
This is typical globalist propaganda at it’s worst..
And to be clear, I’m all for kicking every single one of them out. I’m just making the argument that it will have negative impacts in many ways on many communities. But people need to be willing to accept short term pain for long term gain.
You seriously misjudge my motives here.
But who would pick the lettuce?
Those on the welfare roles. No workee, no money.
Round em up. Ill take my chances on an illegal free driven economy.
And to be frank, one easy way to do it is to stop ALL government services to illegals. ALL of them. Kids would not even be allowed in public schools.
My only point is that, just as if we shut down half the government (which would also be a good thing), when you shrink the economy in a world where the economy depends on growth, it will be painful at first.
But it’s most definitely worth it.
1. Burglar Bar companies will be going out of business coast to coast except for Chicago and much of California
2. Police Forces can downsize
3. We won't have to build so many new prisons
4. No more: "Push 13 if you still speak English"
5. The Infectious Disease rate drops faster than Bill Clinton's skivvies at Jeff Epstein's teen-age whorehouse
Building would slow PRIMARILY because there would be no need for it. 20+ million people leaving, opens up a lot of housing.
The slow down in construction would be offset by the loss in labor. Citizen construction workers would continue, probably at an increased level, because illegals take up a disproportionate amount of construction jobs. Good construction jobs would open for young people looking to get in. Millenials, who feel no hope of a future, would now have hope.
Those same millenials would now have cash in handbuying things, versus the illegals who sent a lot back home.
If you have been listening to Medved, it’s no wonder you are confused. He has been a propagandist for the Cheap Labor Express for years.
Illegal aliens are destroying the country.
Removing them will save it.
US population in 1940 was 131 million people.
US casualties because of the war were 419,000.
The loss of these people didn’t destroy the country.
Not even close.
Then look what happened to the country in the following decades.
If we take 20 Million illegals.
Figure one fourth of them are productively employed.
The loss of them would be replaced by those now considered out of the labor force.
With the population decrease and the return of rightful citizens working, our labor participation would be back to peak levels.
U-6 unemployment would virtually match U-3 enemployment.
PLUS, if there was a shortage of labor in this country, THEN we could always open our legal immigration, allowing people to legally come into this country. But ONLY at OUR needs.
(1) I wouldn't have to wait in line so long to get my Driver's license renewed;
(2) My Emergency Department would not be overloaded by Mule Moms bringing their 4 kids in at 4AM for fevers they don't have (since apparently, the Mule Mom cannot afford a damn thermometer);
(3) My kids would have a better shot at getting into colleges;
(4) I wouldn't have to press 2 for English;
(5) I wouldn't have to navigate around clusters of illegal laborers in Home Depot parking lots;
(6) I wouldn't have to bend over backwards to make sure that someone who refuses to learn my country's language of commerce understands the medication instructions I am giving them so they don't overdose their anchor babies.

BREITBART REPORTED EARLIER: Among the terror jihadists that travel back and forth through our porous southern border w/ Mexico is a Kuwaiti refugee named Shaykh Mahmood Omar Khabir, an ISIS operative who lives in the Mexican state of Chihuahua not far from El Paso, Texas, authorities reported.
According to US intelligence, Khabir now provides training to thousands of jihadis mostly from Syria and Yemen at a base in near Ciudad Juarez, which is located just across the border from El Paso, Texas.
US authorities found out about this shocker during an investigation of food stamp fraud in a NJ bodega, as they looked into the store's wire-transfers (remittances).
The wire-transfers all seemed to trace back to one or two accounts in Mexico City.
Cooperating with Mexican Authorities, it soon became apparent that the bodega was aiding and abetting terror. Laundered money was wire-transferred from the NJ bodega to terror cells in Mexico.
The loss of these people didnt destroy the country.
Not even close.
Then look what happened to the country in the following decades.
It was a completely different back story.
And, again, I’m not saying we shouldn’t do it. We most definitely should. I’m just saying it will not be a zero sum game, or even positive - at first. In the long run it will be MUCH better, however.
If we use the 20 million number.
Figure 1/4 of them are children.
The government spends about $10k per student on education, per year.
The only illegals who pay taxes, to pay for education,
are the ones with STOLEN SS numbers and IDs.
Then let’s do the math.
Lets say one of the illegals with stolen IDs “pays” taxes.
More than likely they are earning and reporting an income at or near poverty. Plus they have one, two or more kids, so they collect EITC money, offsetting any taxes that they would pay.
$35K for 2 incomes,
With one child, they’d have a federal taxable income of $10,150
They would pay $1,015 in federal income tax.
Give them the EITC for 1 child, of $3373
That is a net gain for them of $2358
Better yet, let’s look at it as a net loss for the US of $2358
Plus an additional $10k for education
US debt after the war was $241 Billion
It was 113% of our then current GDP
At the end of 2016, our debt was $19.5 Trillion
About 105% of our current GDP
