Nope, we are not willing go give up our comfort and the political elite know that and take advantage of it. We will keep voting for them because they “let” us keep just enough of our comforts to keep voting for the lesser of two terrible choices. Meanwhile they tax us to keep the others satisfied and voting for them as well.

I had a job once I should have left but I was just comfortable enough and just risk adverse enough to suffer on. Leaving was maybe one of the hardest and best things I ever did. I did leave so I can only conjecture what life would have been like had I stayed.

CASHING IN ON THE BACKS OF TAXPAYERS ---HHS doles out huge sums of cash for these ethnics. Other US govt agencies....the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID--is part of the State Dept), the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Department of Labor (DOL) also dedicate hundreds of millions of dollars to various ethnic groups for microenterprises.

In one recent year alone USAID spent $223 million on ethnics; microenterprise development activities, according to figures released by the agency. The USDA also allocates large sums to provide loans and grants to microenterprise development through a special “Rural Microloan Revolving Fund” and the DOL regularly pours lots of money into various microenterprise projects that are promoted as workforce investments in areas with high rates of poverty.

============================================

Public assistance fraud in ethnic enclaves is not episodic....its epidemic. There is plenty of evidence in places populated by separatist groups like latinos and Muslims of collusion and conspiracy to commit massive crimes against the America they detest.

THIS JUST SURFACED --- CBS and NBC News reported mind-boggling fraud in a New Jersey separatist ethnic enclave. Being called one of the most sophisticated welfare frauds ever seen.

The contempt these ethnic fraudsters exhibited for taxpayers is an outrage.

The fraudsters colluded and conspired to open a fake electronics store (sold just 2 beepers)---as literally hundreds of fraudsters listed the store as their address in order to bilk assistance programs and to dupe govt authorities. Millionaire fraudsters falsified public assistance apps; their real income wire-transferred globally.

They also faked being company owners as an integral part of the complex scheme......wealthy families for years and years duped the US government into doling out nearly $2 million (probably 100 times that figure) in public aid they ere not entitled to.

An ethnic child daycare center in the enclave was also used to help hide one couple's true income, according to the criminal charges.

UNRAVELLING THE SCHEME: Using publicly available records, federal complaints and interviews with L/E, the media exposed the inner workings of the contemptuous scheme.

(A) More than $1 million flowed through limited-liability companies – legitimate corporations set up to hide ownership.

(B) The fraudsters colluded w/ relatives to act as straw owners of the companies.

(C) The fraudsters used the LLC corporate bank accounts to hide income.

(D) At the center of most transactions was a local beeper store that ire-transferred money across the globe.

(E) As the suspects falsified govt documents claiming poverty, they took in hundreds of thousands of dollars in undeclared income from the LLC front companies.

(F) One fraudster ran a school and siphoned off DOE tax dollars into his pocket and into a do-good foundation that used (and lost) the tax dollars on failed businesses.

Hey, in all honesty, we are pretty much in agreement on all of this. My one very narrow point can be summarized by focusing on one of your comments:

“The government spends about $10k per student on education, per year.”

That is true. What is also true is that those students eat food, wear clothing, and play video games, have cell phones, etc. When they leave, the economy shrinks. Due to the design of our economy, when it shrinks, there are negative consequences. It is dependent and constant expansion. Yes, they may be temporary, but they are real.

Even if we said that all the illegals paid taxes, we need to remember that these aren’t drs and lawyers coming here.

These are predominantly those with zero education past HS, if even.
Most can’t clearly speak or understand the language.

Relegating them to the lowest paying jobs.

A couple making $35k a year, without kids is only going to pay $1420 in federal income tax.

Food stamps averages $127 a month per person. That’s $3028 just if they collect food stamps.

The argument that they pay taxes is ludicrous.
We are talking about a class of people making so low of income on average, that the taxes they do pay, don’t pay enough to cover their share of government expenses.

GRANTED, many US citizens are in the very same boat.
Willingly allowing more to come in and do the same is ridiculous.

Buying high and selling low and making it up in volume, doesn’t work, no matter how much volume.

US debt after the war was $241 Billion
It was 113% of our then current GDP

At the end of 2016, our debt was $19.5 Trillion
About 105% of our current GDP

But after the war we had a world to rebuild. We were one of the few countries untouched physically by the war. There was HUGE opportunity at every turn. The world now competes with us for very slim profits.

What was our trade deficit at that time?

I’m not really talking about taxes. I’m talking about the economy, which happens to be taxed. When illegals buy clothing, food, cars, phones, etc. they pay taxes for those items. They also create a need for more employees to sell cars, phones, food, etc. who also need those items and pay taxes.

That’s the thing. When you take a factory that employs 500 people out of a town that has 10,000 citizens, it devastates the town’s economy. I’ve seen a lot of it here in central KY. It was a real eye opener.

Sure, all of those towns come back. Some find other businesses to fill the gap, others just shrink, and in some cases, they are towns in name only - a post office, a Dollar General, a gas station, a lot of shuttered businesses and a lot of elderly residents (and welfare recipients) waiting to die.

Removing 20 million people, employed or not, from the population will have a negative effect. It is like surgery. But like surgery, there is a recovery period and then the patient is stronger than before it.

So it really should happen, but people should not expect it to suddenly get better for everyone immediately.

Trade deficits don’t matter in this scenario.

The debt was X
The GDP/income was Y

Where Y comes from is unimportant.

Granted money coming in from outside sources means more money is coming in to our economy, but the debt to income ratio was still to high.

GDP measure the total productivity of the nation.
Ratio wise, more of our national productivity was going to service debt.

Can’t disagree with any of that. However, after the war the nation was like a college graduate with a hugh student loan to pay off but who had more work than he could handle and could pretty much name his price. Now we are like a modern college graduate, with that same student loan, and darn few jobs to be had that pay any real money.

A lot of things are the same, but a lot of things are different - in ways that matter a LOT.

The problem I see with your scenario is this...
(I’m not trying to be argumentative, just trying to discuss the facts)

When a business closes down...jobs are lost...not population.

What we are talking about with 20 million people leaving are jobs continuing, but people leaving.

Granted, there will be less food eaten, less cell phones, etc.

But if a large portion of those people are unemployed, all they are doing is using your money to pay for their stuff.

The reality is, if Tyson foods were to “theoretically” lose all its employs, overnight, at one plant, “theoretically” there would be enough unemployed people to replace them the next day.

Thus, “theoretically” you would instantly stop paying for others food and cell phones and housing. Freeing up YOUR money to SPEND that how and on what YOU want.

In other words, The loss of you spending $50 a month for SOMEONE ELSEs phone, is offset by you spending that same $50 a month for the BRAND NEW phone, that YOU couldn’t buy before, because you were paying for someone elses phone.

Same with food.
Not having to pay for someone else food/ food stamps, means you can order a pizza more often, or take the family to McDs more, or go on a date night more often or to a nicer place.

The money that the illegals spend, that is covered by tax payers, would just be spent by different people at other places.

I agree with everything I’m seeing in your post. I’m mostly just saying what “could” happen.

And if I may focus on this comment for a second: “The reality is, if Tyson foods were to “theoretically” lose all its employs, overnight, at one plant, “theoretically” there would be enough unemployed people to replace them the next day.”

I think any negative impact would be significantly reduced if the able bodied unemployed were “forced” off welfare into a “if you don’t work, you don’t eat” situation. And I think this would actually have very positive impact both on them and the American culture in general.

People say the illegals do the jobs americans don’t want to do. I see it as doing the jobs americans don’t have to do because they’d rather just live on welfare.

I have no idea what this Article is about.

My Government has told me there are only 11 Million Illegals living in America, none of them Vote, they all pay Taxes, they all keep Social Security solvent and they commit less Crime than American Citizens do.

In my best Richard Rawlings, it’s a win, win, win, win, win, win...

I watch the Show “Pool Kings”.

The White guys show up and plan the job with their White Clients.

Then the White guys show up and along with their White Clients watch the Mexican guys do the job.

Then the White Clients make a change in the Plans and the White Guys have the Mexican guys come back and redo their work to satisfy their White Clients.

After the job is done, the White guys show up, get paid and celebrate how great the job turned out with their White Clients.

It’s a great formula for the Show. Just sayin’. LOL
