If it’s 23MBps it’s 184mbps. That would require a lot of throughput to sustain it.

And the basic premise of this article is that it would have been impossible.

A modern Windows Exchange server can sustain 300mbs, minimum, across a 1gbs Internet circuit. And keep pumping data until there is none left.

The initial surge would be at 1gbs for at least 10-15 seconds.

This is nothing unusual.
