That’s how I read it. Until this election, I thought the MSM was the arm of the DNC. Watching the MSM react to Trump’s win as if they personally were being voted out of office made me realize, along with comments from Freepers like Laz, the DNC is the puppet of the MSM.
Years ago, I read of some high profile republican who went to the NYT requesting to talk to one of the higher ups. Well, their royal highnesses (hind-a@@es) made him wait and then sent a lackey to underscore that he was out of favor because he was a republican. The lackey was impatient and rude and finally blurted, “WE are the conscience of the people!” He may have been using the royal “We”. I was shocked at the moral narcissism on display because I had never considered the MSM....anything....really. I thought they were supposed to go and see and listen and then right down what they saw and heard. And here they were acting like royalty. I guess they took over the mantle after “Camelot”? The Kennedy’s were supposedly unofficial American “royalty” and the MSM wanted a piece of that?
I thought it was the other way around.
