Pot, meet kettle...
When I read the headline for this article and it talked about "taking the gloves off"...suddenly an image flashed in my mind about when I was a little girl in the sixties and my mother, sister and I wore white gloves to church.
My mother was raised to be a lady.
And we didn't even live in the South! LOL! (I love the South, btw! Traveled extensively there)l.
So we lived in the Chicago suburbs... but come to think of it, my mom grew up in Kentucky! :)
In any case, I kind of miss the days of white gloves and hats, when a lady looked like a lady, not with porn written on the back of her sweatpants, tattoos everywhere, etc.
We really have "come a long way" in not a very long time.

Seeing freak shows just about everywhere now, small wonder I try to have as little to do with modern society as possible.
