Historically, the French have never set an expiration date on femininity or sensuality. This may explain why, at a time when America’s youth obsession is paramount, and its restrictions on women ever-more pervasive (including Congress’s recent deeming of sleeveless attire inappropriate), Macron’s rejection of outdated age- and gender-related dress codes feels particularly remarkable. Visible on a global scale, France’s First Lady is cutting a liberating new feminist path with her particular brand of Gallic body confidence. In politics, as in life, what could be more powerful?

She has no thighs! You can tell how skinny they are when you look at the first photos of her in the white suit -

Also in this photo. Her skirt is way too short for her age, in my opinion. Below the knee would conceal her toothpick pins, and would be a much more sophisticated look.

But, that is just my opinion. One can be too skinny, and the camera adds pounds so she must look emaciated in real life.

If I did not know her unsavory background and simply met her as, let's say, a businesswoman, neighbor, or corporate wife, I would say that for 64 she's doing very well indeed. Not many women of that age have legs that good. I would add also that even with toned legs, (a) she shouldn't wear such short skirts unless she's going to some very casual event, (b) it's not fair to compare her to one of the world's greatest beauties, because nobody can stand that comparison, (c) most of the people on this thread who say her legs are scrawny probably don't have such fabulous legs themselves, and will be lucky indeed if their wives are as trim at 64, and (d) Vogue has for many years been decadent, corrupt, and culturally destructive. The opinions of its editors are usually the opposite of the truth. Remember how much they adored Michelle Obama.

Having a “political wife” is far better than having a trannie, cross dresser, or one of the other perversions gay guys are inventing. As long as Macron thinks Trump is right to work with Putin, he can marry an alligator for all I care.
