Very nice, Merrill’s Murderers seem to be a forgotten batch of heroic men. Don’t see much on them. Slogged through jungles in Burma clear through to Myitkyinaw, Merrill was fighting with a heart condition, few of his men survived, but they took Myitkyinaw airfield. BIL came home with mental issues.
We had some very brave men who did what no one said could be done.
