Honestly! When I read this I could only think of what our forebears would do in such times. My guess is that a whole lot of “deputies” would be lining the streets.
One day we are going to read about such goings on in a town and how the town “took matters into their own hands” (and in a big way), seeing that the “law” could not/would not protect them.
Courts have already ruled law enforcers are under no obligation to protect the public.
Clearly their task these days is to bring in revenue and file paperwork.
And this is why gun toting organized criminals are permitted to own districts in the city.
Let LEOs be occupied with the good citizens so no one is available for the gangs. When Julio shoots Devontrey, well, too bad. Devontrey will just have to try to hang on until after the fireworks. Priorities.
