Specialists at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) in London, where terminally-ill Charlie is being cared for, said therapy proposed by a US doctor was experimental and wouldn’t help. If he's been judged terminal, what can it hurt?

What can it hurt? If the US medical system can prove GOSH wrong, GOSH and the british authorities will be in a world of hurt.
