Alleged facelift, I should say. It’d be a fun postscript to this own-goal if the president of the United States got sued by a cable-news host for defamation.
As nasty and stupid as it is for him to sink to this, increasingly I think it’s the least he can do for his base. We may not get a decent health-care bill or tax reform or stronger borders but we’ll have plenty of sick media burns to look back on when we reflect on the Trump years. This panem et circenses is the best panem et circenses, believe me:
I heard poorly rated @Morning_Joe speaks badly of me (don't watch anymore). Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came..

…to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Year's Eve, and insisted on joining me. She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!

The standards for presidential decorum were higher not so long ago! Anyway, he’s getting it from all sides in the aftermath. From Brzezinski herself…
— Mika Brzezinski (@morningmika) June 29, 2017
…from her network spokesmen…
Never imagined a day when I would think to myself, "it is beneath my dignity to respond to the President of the United States."

Please just stop. This isn't normal and it's beneath the dignity of your office.

Mr. President, your tweet was beneath the office and represents what is wrong with American politics, not the greatness of America.
— Lindsey Graham (@LindseyGrahamSC) June 29, 2017
…and even from his would-be press secretary:
MESSAGE DISCIPLINE! Today ALL comms coming out of WH shd be focused on #KatesLaw and #NoSanctuaryforCriminalsAct — not cable TV hosts.

Although one man remains ever loyal:
Maybe liberal Joe should stop calling the @POTUS a schmuck, a liar, a thug and mentally unhinged. Were they kissing @POTUS ass at xmas? Yes https://t.co/Ehf4EHvcjS

And of course, Team Trump is on message — not about health care or energy but about the president’s main preoccupation. Keep in mind, Melania Trump’s main initiative as First Lady thus far has been, uh, combating cyberbullying:

I wonder if “Morning Joe” imagined when it was promoting this guy during the Republican primaries that the story would end with him tweeting about Mika’s plastic surgery from the White House. And to think, less than six months ago Trump was supposedly offering to officiate at Joe’s and Mika’s wedding. In hindsight, perhaps we’ll remember today as the day Scarborough resolved to primary Trump.
I’m already looking forward to the investigation into Mika’s facelift on tonight’s very special episode of “Hannity.” In lieu of an exit question, I’ll just link you to this old post by Kevin Williamson written the day of the Indiana primary last year, when Trump eliminated Ted Cruz and effectively clinched the nomination. Ben Shapiro makes a fair point: In certain ways, Trump is the right-wing equivalent of late-night liberal comedians like Samantha Bee or Stephen Colbert. The difference is that the left hasn’t sought to make any of them president. Yet.
A lot of people voted for Trump who don’t particularly like Trump and may not agree with all of his proposals while campaigning. They either could not abide the alternative (Clinton) or were sick and tired of the status quo and didn’t want it to continue. Even some liberals voted for Trump thinking of him as a placeholder and to get the Clinton finally out of the way (or so they thought).
Don’t make the same mistaken assumption the media makes, that everyone who voted for Trump loves him.
I trust Trump is not stupid enough to believe that either.
Trump was the right choice IMO.
That does not make him beyond criticism.
In February...
And then they dare talk about “civility”, while, on a daily basis, wildly cheer the literal assassination of Trump in Central Park.
Another fake media controversy. Most of the media doesn’t seem to want to point out that the dolty hosts of Morning Joe sit there every morning unfairly and viciously bashing President Trump with very little, if any, balance shown. Scarborough is a fake Republican (if he even still considers himself one) and Mika is just a foolish, garrulous liberal. I don’t agree with all the wording that President Trump uses, but what do you expect? It’s presidential to just sit there and say nothing to defend yourself while you’re savaged by the media and the Dems? President GW Bush tried that and left office in shame.
Thank you.
I’m a bit disappointed that the President use the word “covfeffe” even one time.
Honestly, I’m sick to death of these lying, agenda-driven, nasty media whores. It is about time that they get an atomic wedgie. Maybe that’ll make them STFU for a while.
I go there just to read the comments especially when they pile on Allah-A-Hole chief Never Trumper at Hot Air. But yeah, that site is a mess otherwise.
I'm lovin' it!! Finally, a President that isn't afraid to speak out. It's one of the reasons I voted for him. Congress critters like Miss Lindsey Graham have no concept of why we voted for Trump, nor how much we applaud him for fighting back at the libs. These so-called Republicans dishonor themselves, and their constituents when they try to lecture the President on how to behave.
Amen!!

This is the man. This is who he is. This is why we voted for him, and thank God! now that he’s in office, he’s not changing one bit, and the people who voted for him are loving it. I know I am, and I don’t even belong to Twitter or Facebook. Never have, never will. I’m sick and tired of the main stream media picking our nominees. I’m sick and tired of a Republican candidate who is afraid to say something for fear he’ll offend someone or something. I’m sick of Republicans saying they’re sorry for what they said. And I’m sick of the Obama & Clinton minions claiming to be offended by what he says, when they’ve said and done far worse to this man who only wants to help this country get back on track. I wouldn’t care if he was a Neanderthal, knocking people around with his club. I had no plans to vote for Trump, but as time went on, he grew on me. The man fights, and he doesn’t back down. He says what he means, and he means what he says. How can you fault someone who is honest and forthright? I can’t, and I won’t. He’s a gentleman when it matters, and he’s a bull when he needs to be. Let the man be who he is.
blah blah blah
Pick a lane, press. Either we’re all equal individuals or not.
You can’t cherrypick when equality applies - there is no justification for pearl-clutching when one individual makes a comment about another individual because one individual is a different sex (selected or natural).
Nor can you apply a double-standard, that it’s ok for a woman (gender selected or natural) to use a public forum to constantly harass and bully a man, his family and his employees, because she’s a woman, but the man can’t respond in kind, because he’s a man.
Bttt
Posting all that nonsense makes as much sense as copying and pasting all the replies on threads and then posting them into one REALLY LONG THREAD...
Some of us still know how to read and prefer to read material as it existed before all this twitter jazz! Who CARES what someone has tweeted/twitted/whatever? If that’s all that binds people together anymore in place of real communication with one another, we are really doomed!
Always wrong in his prediction of Trump’s demise. He doesn’t have a clue.
... and just like that, the Russia Russia Russia narrative is gone, which shows it’s not important and never was.
Tweetus Maximus.
“How can you fault someone who is honest and forthright? “
—
I didn’t fault HIM,I faulted his Tweeting.
Big difference.
As I posted earlier,I will always support him.
.
What’s the difference if he’s says it Tweeting, or says it live when speaking? I’m glad you’re supporting him, but the man has every right to get his message out no matter what he uses. Even carrier pigeon.
