She’s a jerk and needs to learn, all of them need to learn if they can’t take the pain, don’t play the game.
He could have been more tactful.
“Mika spent three days at Marolargo but he didn’t want to see her with all the bandages after the surgery.”
This would have made people ask, “what surgery?” and would have worked just as well but wouldn’t have been as crude.
