I’ve had feminist types tell me I married a Chinese woman because I wanted a meek docile wife.

I rarely laugh at people in public at things they but that was the funniest thing I’ve ever heard. Anyone who thinks Asian women are meek and docile has no clue.

I've heard it said that women and men approach life differently.

Women want to be loved
Men want to be respected.

In todays society, western, feminist women don't respect men.
They compete, berate and denigrate men.
Asian women respect men.

Once I had a Japanese woman explain to me that they had no use for feminism because they don't want to step down. They have it the best of any women in the world, or at least used to before too many of them decided they had to go to work full time and compete with men.

Up until just a few years ago, Japanese husband gave his wife the entire household earnings to manage and she gave him back an allowance of roughly $300 per month. She managed everything else took classes and went shopping when he was at work. She allowed him to pretend he was in charge only during those rare times when he was at home.

A lot has changed since I last lived there in 2002, but when I went back for a three week visit last fall, I discovered a lot also has changed little. It is still a far saner society than ours.
