If you really want to have a laugh, go to Thailand and when speaking to cops and other officials, call it “Taiwan” and call the people “Taiwanese.”
The state police get a big kick out of that.
I can believe that. We used to own a vacation flat in Bangkok.
Bangkok was our get-a-way location as it didn’t require a visa for us to visit from Hong Kong. The kids always enjoyed Thailand when they were little.
