KEARNY -- Immigrant and civil rights advocates joined faith groups outside Hudson County's jail tonight to demand answers in the case of a 35-year-old Honduran immigrant who died in Jersey City two weeks ago after being detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agents.
The group of about 50 protesters, chanting "the people, united, will never be divided" and holding signs reading "America's got room, immigrants welcome," slammed county officials for their operation of the jail and for their controversial agreement with ICE that allows jail officers to act as immigration agents.
The immigrant, Rolando Meza Espinoza, was arrested by ICE agents at his worksite on Long Island in March and detained in Kearny, according to Manuel Portela, attorney for Meza Espinoza's family. He was sent to Jersey City Medical Center's intensive care unit because of "gastrointestinal bleeding" on June 8 and died two days later. His family did not find out until June 12 when they called to check on him, according to Portela.

I have some basic questions: if, as we are told, all the people coming here are the good people won’t that mean that only the bad people will remain in their native lands?
And if only bad people remain in those nations won’t those nations continue their trend toward corruption, violence and hostility?
Isn’t it in America’s foreign policy and national defense interest to keep as many good people as possible in those lands with the hope and/or expectation that they will effect change there? By definition, they can do nothing if they migrate here.
It’s time to dispense with the sob stories and thinly-disguised attempts to latch onto the welfare gravy train and tell these saints to stay at home and sort out their own problems.
Exactly correct. While referring to the guy thruout the article as "immigrant", nowhere do I see anything about him being either an immigrant or an illegal alien.

Obviously, if he was a legal immigrant, would he have been detained in the first place? Extremely doubtful.
And, yes, the media obfuscates, lies, colors, and tugs at the heartstrings with every line. The facts, the law, logic, and reason mean absolutely nothing to them.
They continue the lie and the propaganda by dropping "illegal" to describe these people's status. What is never said by the media is the fact that if a country allows anyone to enter and/or live there, it ceases to be a country, or soon will be.
For all his good intentions, I am afraid President Trump is 8 years too late in his quest to rid the US of illegal aliens. The dems, the media, and a large proportion of the public is against him on this. The die is cast. The new normal is acceptance of the invading forces. The republic is lost.

Cirrhosis of the liver is usually due to chronic alcoholism. Drinking when you are a diabetic is a convenient way to kill yourself. This is just nuts! The guy’s liver probably started bleeding internally and that is not an easy thing for doctors to fix. I know my BIL died bleeding out from a compromised liver from his excess use of alcohol. But as our RAT stalwart, Rahm Emanuel says: “never let a good crisis go to waste,” so the illegal Alien Beaners and their sympathizers are trying to use this guy’s killing himself as a foil against ICE.

laws - follow them and you likely won’t have such problems as being caught and detained in a country you don’t belong in. simple as that. People spitting in the wind regarding this matter.
