I have always felt it was a mistake putting teachers who are under the age of 25 in schools teaching kids over the age of 15. the teachers are just to close in age . not all 25 year old teacher would do what this one did but it is just not a good idea. have the teachers work for 5 years with younger children before putting them in a teaching position with some one that they might still identify with socially.

when I was in high school I had a drama teacher who was only 22 years old fresh from the university. she was a great teacher but I know she had a tough time because my class mates were constantly harassing her with sexual innuendo.

It makes for a lot of hormonal situations. Back in the 70s we had a HS coach who started dating a senior girl; it was known to everyone in our small town. They got engaged and it all fell apart when she got pregnant, left town for 9 months, and the coach promptly left town (alive).
