Luckily NM still (for now) has some of the most generous gun laws.

I'm wondering how long that will last what with Dem control of the NM House and Senate. Get a Dem gov. and what we enjoy here will end. The trend in NM is going blue. It's not even purple anymore.

The DEM legislature made a play this last session to all but criminalize every private gun transfer, it failed that time. You're right though, they'll be back at it next session. I think this county will stay dark red as long as the drilling business endures, they haven't made inroads here yet to blue it up.
