It's WAY too early to reach such a conclusion. Sometimes a Justice will support not taking a case AT THE PRESENT TIME when he/she is not sure the decision would go his/her way. I suspect that may be the case here. When one more of the liberal/swing Supreme Court judges retires/dies & is replaced I suspect certiorari will be granted upon resubmital.

My specific issue is that life happens, and unless the Sheriff can “see” into my specific future and personally guarantee me with their life that no circumstances will ever exist in my lifetime to warrant self-protection outside my home for me or my family, then the entire argument is bogus.

I’ve been worried about Gorsuch from Day One. He comes across (to me) as extremely arrogant trying too hard to feign humility. I don’t trust him. I believe (have read) that his church’s minister is a lesbian. Too liberal for me. I PRAY that I am wrong about him.
