ven though it runs through the heart of L.A’.s Baldwin Hills/Crenshaw neighborhood, most Angelenos would be hard pressed to locate Rodeo Road on a map.
In fact, they’d probably point to its ritzy doppelganger — Beverly Hills’ Rodeo Drive — instead.

L.A. already has a Obama Street they just rename skid row.
Actually, that street is perfect. It’s all left turns.
It can run between George W. Bush Avenue down to Bill Clinton Boulevard.
Should be a dead end.

What a great idea to name a more major street after Obama.
Select a multi-lane street, make it a one-way that ends up in a dead end.
Oh yeah, and it has to go through a mostly abandoned black neighborhood.
One side of the street should be painted black, the other side painted white.
Straight female hookers will tout their wares on one side of the street while gay male hookers are on the other side.
Transgender hookers will clog up traffic in the middle of the street.
Big signs on every store will promise free stuff while hoods stand by to pick pockets and mug anyone foolish enough to enter.
Meanwhile local media will tout the street as a “must see” tourist attraction to lure in out of town visitors.
Surprised it’s not a toll road, yet!
Because he wasn’t a major president.
What Obama St? It should be in ISIS held territory....
Because, as history will show, he was, at best, a fairly minor President. . .
They should rename 6th Street Obama Street. It runs right down town and if they rename it maybe the Demonicrats would try to clean it up a bit.

Hopefully soon the name “Obama” will be purged from the public eye and become an insult used in low conversation. That would happen if the truth about him were exposed. Now, if only there was someway to open that can of worms. Gee, if we only had some political power...

Perhaps the people who originally supported this thought they were going to change the name of ‘Ro-DAY-o Drive. Most expensive shopping area in Westwood/UCLA area. Bwahahahaha! And now they are balking because it is a nothing street to the south of LA.
Hopefully it will run through; Watts, Compton, and where ever the Rodney King riots occurred.
