IMO Brennan is the central figure. He is the one who pushed the dossier to the FBI, which then used it to get a FISA warrant and then initiate an investigation in July. The question is why given the fact that everyone thought that Hillary was a sure winner. Maybe they just wanted to destroy Trump regardless of the outcome.
Agreed. Brennen was rabid at the time. Did Brennan push this on his own? Or did the WH push it?
At minimum, he, Comey and McCabe were working toward the same ends. Brennan could not have pulled this off by himself. No question tpoo, the CIA has assets in the US press.
IMO, labeling this as a coup attempt is not hyperbole. It is ongoing, and has been amazingly effective at deliegitimizing the results of a presidential election.
