CNN - June 25, 2017 - Dana Bash presiding

SCHIFF: It was a factor and it should not have been the most weighty factor. I think they were concerned about being perceived as interfering in the election, trying to tip the scales for Hillary Clinton.

Say WHAT?!!

Obama campaigned for Hillary. So much for fear about interfering in an election.

And if (emphasis on IF) Russia was interfering with the election, certainly mentioning that is fair game in the campaign and I would say a DUTY to the public. Trump wasn't afraid to mention it. He mocked the administration, and Hillary, when he suggested that maybe the Russians had the 30,000 e-mails that Hillary admitted to deleting. The claim of Russian interference in the election was an issue in the campaign.

I get a kick out of Putin's response to Obama. "Where is the evidence?" Evidence? We don't need no stinkin' evidence. We work from accusation. And trust me, it works!

Feinstein, Schiff Statement on Russian Hacking - Sep 22 2016

"Based on briefings we have received, we have concluded that the Russian intelligence agencies are making a serious and concerted effort to influence the U.S. election.

"At the least, this effort is intended to sow doubt about the security of our election and may well be intended to influence the outcomes of the election--we can see no other rationale for the behavior of the Russians.

"We believe that orders for the Russian intelligence agencies to conduct such actions could come only from very senior levels of the Russian government.

"We call on President Putin to immediately order a halt to this activity. Americans will not stand for any foreign government trying to influence our election. We hope all Americans will stand together and reject the Russian effort."

One other point on this "foreign interference" angle.

I recall news reports that various foreign leaders would "treat the US badly" if Trump was elected.

61 not-very-positive things foreign leaders have said about Donald Trump - The Washington Post
Donald Trump terrifies world leaders - POLITICO
Which world leaders support Donald Trump? - Business Insider

Vladimir Putin, Geert Wilders, Matteo Salvini, Kim Jong Un, Nigel Farage, Marine Le Pen, Viktor Orban, and Robert Mugabe
And this theme of using claims of foreign sentiment to block and lie about Trump continues post election ...

Foreign leaders told to praise Trump on election win | TheHill
16 reactions from world leaders stunned by this election - POLITICO

The only side that has been and is using "foreign interference" to advantage, is the anti-Trump side. Trump has focused on MAGA.

Just checking in to the thread and see you’re on the road again! Hope this trip was successful, and the path will bring you safely home. It’s a shame we were never able to get together when you passed through Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach a few years back. Unfortunately, I’m not able to get out much now, and do very little travel.

Thanks for all the effort you make to bring us information that most of us would otherwise miss. Travel well!

When Bernie’s people accidently accessed DNC databases, all heck broke loose.

When stuff was leaked from Podesta and DNC servers, crickets

The young people don't. The lifers in the deep state or whatever cute nickname you want to give those people need to force young people to buy insurance in order to fund the others. And control people; it's what the lifers do. They are like the people that Jesus chased from the temple with a scourge.

Actually, that's not a bad idea. How do we provide the President with a supply of scourges?

Combine that statement with Hillary's repeated attacks against Trump in the debates about him being soft on the Russians and a pal of Putin and you have the inference that the Russians are supporting Trump in the election. Still, it was no big deal because Hillary was way ahead in the election. The Russian narrative was just more ammo to launch at Trump, but it was never portrayed as any kind of game changer.

Oct 23, 2016 Interview with Robbie Mook

ROBBY MOOK: These are stolen documents, stolen by the Russians — it’s now confirmed — from John Podesta, that are being put out for this purpose.

CHRIS WALLACE: Can I speak to that? You know, the Trump tax returns were stolen as well when they were mailed to The New York Times. You guys didn’t object to that, in fact, you jumped all over them.

MOOK: Well, I think what’s particularly disturbing in this situation is that the intelligence community has now confirmed that John Podesta’s e-mails and the DNC e-mails were stolen by the Russians.

WALLACE: I know about the Russian connection. I’m talking about the $12 million from the King of Morocco and the fact that this continues to sort of show the line between private and public and Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation.

40% of doctors don’t accept Medicaid patients.

According my Dr., who also doesn't accept Medicaid patients, the reasons are very low pay for procedures and very slow pay.

Why do young people need anything other than catastrophic coverage?

Because they don't have the money to pay a $5000 deductible?

Trump needs a legislative victory. Obamacare was used by the GOP as a political issue. It is Obama's signature legislative achievement and legacy. Obama has come out now defending it. The failure of the GOP to reach a consensus on a better healthcare option will destroy them as a party.

I do not agree that Trump needs any legislative victory. The "Republican" House and Senate need to pass some "conservative" legislation. Since there are few "conservatives" in the House and the Senate, the likelihood of "conservative" legislation getting passed is not realistic.

So what we may be living through is Bush III with the Democrats and the Propaganda organs doing to Trump what they did to Bush II.

The "Republican" House and Senate members are again what they do best, hide from public view. With the exception of Real Conservatives. - Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, Ran Paul and the Freedom Caucus
