Senate investigators are demanding to see records of communications between Fusion GPS and the FBI and the Justice Department, including any contacts with former Attorney General Loretta Lynch, now under congressional investigation for possibly obstructing the Hillary Clinton email probe, and deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe, who is under investigation by the Senate and the Justice inspector general for failing to recuse himself despite financial and political connections to the Clinton campaign through his Democrat activist wife. Senate investigators have singled out McCabe as the FBI official who negotiated with Steele.

The FBI received a copy of the Democrat-funded dossier in August, during the heat of the campaign, and is said to have contracted in October to pay Steele $50,000 to help corroborate the dirt on Trump — a relationship that “raises substantial questions about the independence” of the bureau in investigating Trump, warned Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa.

The deputy FBI director was dealing with a contact obtained through this “ firm” that was also working with and for the Russian govt. Did FBI money go to “ Fusion” to pay for “ intelligence sources” and services to intervene in the US election? Did FBI money go to Fusion for opposition research against Trump cloaked as Russian intelligence gathering? Is it true Vhristopher Steele is still on the FBI payroll? ( or payoff roll)
Wonder if any connection between this operation anc thosd 35 mysteriously rapidly expelled Russian “ diplomats” quickly hustled out if the US by obama? All news of them and their role and contacts missing from any of the reports of the “ investigation” of Russian interferencd?

The FBI reached a deal in October to pay a former British spy who had compiled a dossier on Donald Trump's alleged ties with Russia, an indication of how seriously the bureau was taking the allegations, according to a person familiar with the matter.
The deal for the former operative, Christopher Steele, to continue his work on behalf of the FBI fell apart when Steele pulled out, said the source, who has direct knowledge of the situation.
I thought Steele had gone dark.

But there was nothing secret about the trip, which had taken place months earlier and had been widely reported.I didn't know that!And there was nothing untoward about it. The investigation of McCabe and Steele HAS to include John McCain’s role in the whole thing and how he ended up with the phoney dossier that he gave to the FBI.
