In what meaningful way is he different from a Mexican illegal immigrant who has an electrical business, pays taxes, and "has done much to improve the lives of those around him," such as his employees and his own family?
At least two families in my neighborhood are in the electrician business. They're Polish.
I’m assuming one would have had to be apprenticed to learn the trade, then get certified and licensed as an electrician, before being allowed to start their own contracting business, right? How does one do that if they’re here illegally?
The illegal Poles in Chicago could buy valid Social Security Card, Drivers License and Voter Card. All they had to do was pay the going rate and promise to vote the way they were told.
Then Adamowski almost beat Daley for mayor in '63. Since then some reliable patronage worked votes on behalf of illegal immigrants because the Dem machine just can't trust them.
In '70 Oscar Lopez successfully organized illegals to get the same "right" as Eastern Europeans and Fillipinos to become legal by buying valid ids under the table. Dem boss Biesczat solved that in '71 by throwing all the Puerto Ricans off the voter rolls because he knew all the Puerto Ricans were going to vote for RFepublican Gracianno Lopez; and because they had no immigration papers. Biesczat didn't even bother to consider the difference between Puerto Ricans who are natural born citizens and immigrants.
