The loan was some kind of ‘gamble’ that they could enlarge the school and attract more students (the logic to this never appears). The school was not really accredited, so people identify it as a diploma-mill operation. I think if she’d taken the money and gotten them accredited via some association....it would have helped to improve the attendance situation.
